Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk evaluations for lending committee review
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with commercial lending teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay updated on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit decisions
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal banking regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 2+ years of credit analysis or commercial lending experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis and debt service coverage ratios
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with SBA lending programs preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
