Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret regulatory changes (HIPAA, OSHA, CMS) for healthcare compliance
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments across clinical departments
- Develop/update compliance policies and training materials
- Investigate and resolve compliance incidents per established protocols
- Coordinate with legal counsel on regulatory inquiries
- Prepare quarterly compliance reports for executive leadership
- Maintain electronic compliance documentation systems
- Train staff on new regulations and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
- 3+ years compliance experience in healthcare or regulated industry
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) preferred
- Expert knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and state healthcare regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in compliance management software (e.g., MetricStream, Navex)
- Excellent written communication and report writing abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
