In this position, you will ensure the integrity of our financial data and support our clients' growth through accurate record-keeping.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are coded, approved, and processed accurately and on time.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to maintain up-to-date financial records and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports, including P&L statements and balance sheets.
- Process payroll for a small team, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Organize and maintain financial documentation, both physical and digital.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account status and billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage) is mandatory.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
