Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow reporting
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets) for client review
- Oversee payroll processing and tax filings for small businesses
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks accounting systems
- Assist with month-end closing and audit preparation
- Provide financial insights and budgetary support to clients
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Associate's degree in Accounting or relevant certification (CPA preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations (WA state)
- Detail-oriented with error detection and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
