Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Process and track invoices, ensuring accuracy in data entry and posting.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and balance sheets for management review.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records and filing systems.
- Assist with payroll processing and preparation of quarterly tax documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and basic spreadsheet functions.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
