Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings
- Generate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) for client reviews
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks/Xero accounting systems
- Conduct month-end closing procedures and variance analysis
- Collaborate with tax preparers during audit season
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks/Xero and MS Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
