Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Software Proficiency: Maintain and update client ledgers using QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and monthly reports for clients.
- Expense Tracking: Categorize and record business expenses accurately.
- Client Communication: Liaise with clients regarding invoices and account inquiries.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software: Proficient in QuickBooks and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Location: Must reside in Pennsylvania or be willing to work remotely.
