As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our financial health by maintaining accurate records and facilitating smooth financial operations. You will work closely with our clients to manage their day-to-day accounting needs, providing peace of mind and professional financial oversight.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process and send invoices to clients, ensuring timely payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and basic financial reporting.
- Prepare budget tracking reports and expense reports.
- Handle payroll processing for small business clients.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks).
- Strong knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and basic accounting principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
