Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Assist with monthly payroll processing and ensure tax filings are up to date.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and generate monthly financial statements.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end tax packages and audit schedules.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Experience: 1-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is mandatory.
- Software: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Communication: Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to clients and team members.
