Responsibilities
- Execute weekend financial operations including journal entries, account reconciliations, and transaction processing
- Prepare and analyze weekend financial reports for senior management review
- Manage weekend accounts payable/receivable cycles and vendor communications
- Assist with month-end and quarter-end closing procedures during weekend shifts
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal financial policies
- Collaborate with weekday accounting teams for seamless workflow continuity
- Identify and resolve financial discrepancies during weekend operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Strong understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
- Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Sunday shifts)
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
