Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor communications
- Prepare financial statements and quarterly reports
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Utilize QuickBooks for data entry and transaction tracking
- Support tax preparation documentation
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro
- Proficient in MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and payroll processing
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional certification (e.g., CB) preferred
