Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card statement analysis on a monthly basis.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records using QuickBooks Online.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Process payroll for small business clients with high accuracy.
- Prepare basic financial statements and reports for management review.
- Organize and file financial documents and tax-related paperwork.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel is required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
