Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation documentation.
- Ensure all financial records are up to date and compliant with federal and state regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial inquiries and statements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software is mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
