Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Transactions: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision and timeliness.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Invoicing: Generate and send invoices to clients and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets.
- General Ledger: Maintain and update the general ledger accounts.
- Compliance: Ensure all bookkeeping activities adhere to US tax laws and company policies.
- Communication: Liaise with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional certification (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of proven bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and Google Sheets.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot discrepancies and ensure 100% accuracy in data entry.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
