Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations with high accuracy.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Process payroll for a small team, ensuring timely and accurate tax filings.
- Prepare and maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and accruals.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports for management.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents.
- Collaborate with external accountants and tax professionals as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 2+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
