Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring all data is entered correctly into our accounting software.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and year-end tax preparation support.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state financial regulations.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a part-time schedule.
- Excellent communication skills and professional work ethic.
