Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements, profit and loss reports, and balance sheets.
- Payroll Support: Assist with processing payroll and preparing quarterly tax filings.
- General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger system and ensure all entries are up to date.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with GAAP and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of proven bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Xero, FreshBooks).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on data integrity.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
