Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Invoicing: Process and send invoices to clients and vendors in a timely manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using our accounting software.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and general ledger entries.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial data complies with federal and state regulations.
- Support: Collaborate with the accounting manager to streamline financial processes.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies.
- Software: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
