Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including processing accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll for a small team of employees on a bi-weekly basis.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and ledgers.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and year-end audits.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
