Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations with precision.
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Process payroll for a small team of employees using ADP or similar platforms.
- Prepare and send monthly financial statements and budget reports to clients.
- Maintain the general ledger and assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax packages.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with year-end audits and financial close processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage Intacct is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and Google Workspace.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot errors before they become issues.
- Understanding of GAAP principles and basic tax compliance knowledge.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
