Responsibilities
- Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely billing and payment processing.
- Perform accurate monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and process payroll for small business clients using QuickBooks Online.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and monthly financial reports.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
- Assist the senior accounting team with tax preparation support during peak seasons.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is essential.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
