Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger: Accurately record daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure all accounts are balanced.
- AP/AR: Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely collections of accounts receivable.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and budget reports.
- Record Keeping: Organize and maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with company policies and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Software: Proficiency with QuickBooks Online or Excel is required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Availability: Must be available for a part-time schedule (approx. 20-25 hours/week).
