Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Process payroll and assist with tax document preparation.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state financial regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax preparation.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
