Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconciliation: Perform accurate bank and credit card reconciliations monthly.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and profit & loss reports.
- Payroll Support: Process payroll data and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Client Communication: Liaise with clients to clarify financial inquiries and document updates.
- System Management: Maintain and update financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Software: Proficient in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software.
- Excel Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity.
- Reliability: Self-motivated individual capable of working remotely or in-office with minimal supervision.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
