Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll for multiple clients with strict attention to tax compliance.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and financial statement analysis.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial status and inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and/or Xero is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
