Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile monthly bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and assist with month-end close procedures.
- Prepare and send accurate invoices and billing statements to clients.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and quarterly tax documentation.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero) to track financial data and generate reports.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their account status and financial inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
