Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews to ensure accuracy.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks or Xero.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports and balance sheets.
- Vendor Relations: Process invoices and manage vendor communications effectively.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related role.
- Software: Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Communication: Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
