Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and accounting software
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and budget reports
- Handle payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Assist with audits and financial analysis for client portfolios
- Implement financial controls and process improvements
- Communicate financial insights to stakeholders clearly
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and NY tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Attention to detail with error prevention capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
