Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process payroll for multiple entities with high accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and monthly financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and quarterly tax filings.
- Monitor cash flow and provide monthly financial statements to management.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial records are up to date.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals during year-end audits.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies in data.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and a professional demeanor.
