Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and financial records
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings
- Assist with audits and compliance documentation
- Implement and improve bookkeeping workflows
- Collaborate with CPA for quarterly reviews
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Expert knowledge of GAAP principles
- Strong Excel skills with pivot tables/vlookups
- Tax filing experience (sales, payroll, 1099)
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
