Responsibilities
- Accurately record and maintain financial transactions using QuickBooks Online
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts monthly
- Process payroll and manage accounts payable/receivable
- Generate monthly financial statements for client review
- Prepare sales tax filings and assist during audits
- Implement financial controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with CPA firms for quarterly reporting
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Experience with sales tax filing (CA BOE)
- Strong attention to detail and error-spotting abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Relevant certification (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor) a plus
