Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for 10+ clients
- Generate financial statements and quarterly reports for business owners
- Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and sales tax filings
- Track expenses and provide budget variance analysis
- Collaborate with CPAs during tax season
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Proven ability to manage multiple client portfolios
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
