Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for 5-10 clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Assist with tax preparation documentation and audit support
- Implement QuickBooks cloud solutions for client efficiency
- Provide proactive financial insights to business owners
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or relevant certification
- Strong attention to detail with error-spotting abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Familiarity with sales tax reporting (AZ)
- Proven problem-solving for reconciliations
