We're seeking a meticulous professional to manage accounts with precision while supporting small businesses across the Bay Area. This flexible role offers remote work options with occasional in-person meetings in our downtown San Francisco office.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor communications
- Prepare financial statements and assist with quarterly tax documentation
- Implement QuickBooks solutions and optimize bookkeeping workflows
- Track expense reports and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Collaborate with CPAs during audit preparation periods
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks
- Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent certification
- Proficiency in Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong attention to detail and error-resolution skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- CA residents only due to tax compliance requirements
