Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and monthly reports for clients.
- Payroll Support: Process payroll entries and assist with payroll tax filings where required.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date digital and physical financial records.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with local and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Skills: Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability: Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
