Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor/client communications
- Prepare monthly financial reports including profit/loss statements and balance sheets
- Assist with payroll processing and tax documentation preparation
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Support month-end closing procedures and audit preparations
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data entry and analysis
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience (3+ years)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and bookkeeping fundamentals
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with multi-currency transactions a plus
- Professional certification (e.g., CB) preferred but not required
