What You Will Do:
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements with high precision.
- Process and track invoices, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial data is up-to-date.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding billing inquiries and account status.
- Perform month-end close procedures efficiently.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
- Familiarity with US tax regulations and GAAP principles.
