Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile monthly bank statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare financial statements including profit & loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings for multiple clients
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for transaction recording and data analysis
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and audit preparation
- Provide financial insights to clients through regular reporting
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Proven ability to meet deadlines with exceptional accuracy
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Professional certification (e.g., CB) highly desirable
- Reliable transportation for occasional client meetings
