Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Assist with payroll processing and tax filings
- Support audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Generate custom financial reports for client meetings
- Implement process improvements for efficiency
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Familiarity with sales tax reporting (Texas Comptroller)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Professional certification (AIPB or QuickBooks ProAdvisor) preferred
