Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor communications
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets) for client reviews
- Handle payroll processing and tax compliance filings
- Implement QuickBooks software solutions for operational efficiency
- Conduct periodic audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with CFOs on financial strategy and forecasting
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Florida residency required for in-person client meetings
- QuickBooks Online certification a major plus
