Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for 15+ clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Implement QuickBooks solutions and optimize accounting workflows
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for all transactions
- Collaborate with tax professionals during quarterly and annual reviews
- Support month-end closing procedures and audit preparations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VLOOKUP and pivot table expertise
- Proven track record of managing multi-client accounting portfolios
- Strong knowledge of sales tax regulations (WA state experience required)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation a plus
- Exceptional analytical skills with 100% reconciliation accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
