We're seeking a meticulous Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team in London. This hybrid role (3 days/week) offers flexible hours and the chance to work with innovative tech startups. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closings
- Generate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with clear insights
- Manage VAT returns and ensure HMRC compliance
- Collaborate with clients and team using Xero and Microsoft Excel
- Implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) in bookkeeping or accounting role
- Proficient in QuickBooks/Xero and advanced Excel skills
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and client management experience
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
