We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our finance team in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring our company's fiscal health. Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process payroll for a small team of employees accurately and on time.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients and track payments received.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks and Excel spreadsheets.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and audits as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software is required.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies quickly.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Experience with payroll processing is a plus.
