Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile accounts payable/receivable using QuickBooks Online
- Process payroll and tax filings for multiple small businesses
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Provide financial insights to improve client profitability
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and payroll processing
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, Xero) preferred
