Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable with monthly reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial reports for client portfolios
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings for 15+ clients
- Implement QuickBooks solutions for new business clients
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Bookkeeping (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks Desktop/Online certification
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong understanding of sales tax filing procedures
- Ability to manage multiple client deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
