Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll documentation
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Implement and improve accounting systems for efficiency
- Support audits by providing accurate financial records
- Manage vendor relationships and payment processing
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Part-time availability (20-25 hours/week)
