Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage bank reconciliations
- Prepare month-end financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings for small businesses
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for clients
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Proven track record of reconciling complex accounts
- Strong knowledge of sales tax compliance (AZ)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional certification (e.g., CB) highly desirable
