Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile accounts payable/receivable with meticulous attention to detail
- Process payroll bi-weekly ensuring timely and accurate employee compensation
- Generate monthly financial statements including profit/loss and balance sheets
- Manage bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Prepare sales tax filings and ensure compliance with state regulations
- Support month-end closing procedures and assist with audits
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Familiarity with California sales tax regulations and payroll processing
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines
