Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, with precision and speed.
- Verify customer identities and ensure strict compliance with banking regulations and security protocols.
- Cross-sell bank products and services, such as credit cards, mortgages, and savings accounts, to meet individual customer needs.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily reports accurately at the end of the shift.
- Maintain a neat and organized work area, including the lobby and teller line.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in cash handling, customer service, or banking is preferred but not always required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform accurate mathematical calculations quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn bank software systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
