Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Financial Operations: Oversee general ledger accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial records are up-to-date and error-free.
- Compliance & Audits: Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
- Payroll Support: Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure accurate compensation processing.
- Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monitor variances throughout the fiscal year.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Experience: 2-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting or a similar role.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and a meticulous approach to data accuracy.
- Certifications: CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
